I pledge allegaince to the flag my mama coulda' sewed,

in the factory where my Granny worked but don't you know it closed.

My Grandpa died defending it in Germany,so they say,

but now our grand old flag ain't even made in the USA.

Reckon he'd still be willing to answer the call of Uncle Sam,

if he'da thought his parachute would be made in Vietnam.

Would he be proud still of this country where factories are all gone,

and families with little children have no place to call their home.

Gov. Bev Purdue used her executive order to pass the extension of Unemployment benefits for the people of North Carolina. Why did she use her executive order you ask??? Well... If she were to leave it up to the Republican Caucus it would have been drawn out while the people of North Carolina suffered... Thank You Gov. Purdue you will be sorely missed!!!
